Depart Kampala early morning taking a panoramic drive north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle. Stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Opened up in 1998, the Rhino fund aims at re introducing black and white Rhinos in to Uganda’s protected areas as well as educating the local communities on endangered Rhinos, poaching and environmental conservation. The Rhino trek takes 1-2 hours and you will get an opportunity of viewing them at close quarters. kob. Have a lunch stop in Masindi and continue on to the top of the falls. Checking in for the night at Paraa Safari Lodge or Kabalega Lodge. FB

Murchison Falls Protected Area (MFPA) comprises of Murchison Falls National Park (MFNP), Bugungu and Karuma Wildlife Reserves. The park derives its name from the Murchison Falls where the mighty River Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and flows down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks and buffaloes. The vegetation is characterized by savannah, riverine forest and woodland. Wildlife includes lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees and many bird species including the rare shoebill.

Nature Walks: These can be conducted at Rabongo Forest, Top of the Falls and Kaniyo Pabidi in Budongo Forest.


Early morning game drive to search for giraffes, lions, hart beasts, elephants, cape buffalo and many other mammals. Birds include the Black Chested Snake Eagle, Blue Napped Mousebirds, the Secretary bird, Swallow Tailed Bee-eaters and the Silver Headed Agama. After lunch, enjoy a boat ride on the placid Victoria Nile to the foot of the magnificent Murchison Falls where the Nile plunges through a narrow crevice and over a 40 metre drop. En route, you may see the Nile crocodile, pools of hippo, water bucks and a variety of bird species. Overnight stay at Paraa Safari lodge or Kabalega Lodge. FB


This morning after breakfast; transfer to the Pakuba airstrip for your flight to Kidepo. You will be picked and drive through villages and farm fields. Upon arrival check into Apoka Lodge, have lunch thereafter. Kidepo ranks among Africa’s finest wildernesses. Later you will go for an evening game drive. Overnight at the Apoka Lodge.FB


Start with an early breakfast and then go for a game drive along the trails of Kidepo Valley. The park inhabits one of the most exciting faunas of any Ugandan parks, with over 80 species of mammals several of which are endermic to Kidepo National Park like the cheetah, the striped hyena the caracal and over 465 bird species including the ostriches. You will then drive to a Karamojong village to learn more about their culture, music and dance after lunch. Karamoja has a cattle culture and the Karamojong are notorious as cattle raiders. Unlike most other Ugandans, many Karamojong shun western-style clothes and instead wear “traditional” dress of a blanket -like shawl, often in red and black. The women wear elaborate beadwork. After breakfast, Fly to Entebbe. Overnight at Either Protea Hotel or 2 Friends Beach Hotel. BB


Morning boat to Ngamba Island.  Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary is home to 49 orphaned chimps rescued from throughout Uganda. Return and visit the Zoo. Overnight at the Protea Hotel / 2 friends Beach Hotel.BB
